Meditation and Sleep
No meditation. Went to bed at 11:30pm. Woke up at 6:30am and remembered this dream:
There was some kind of presentation. Toby was to stand at a podium and share something from his life experience. Adela grabbed a sheet of paper and ran off with it, kind of like when they used to play around as kids. Toby was angry and yelled her name like he used to with Sebastian when Sebastian wasn’t being agreeable.
Before that, I had a dream where I remembered:
A head-doctor at a hospital (I didn’t recognize anyone or any location) remarked to another doctor something like: “Let’s see you save THAT family”. The other doctor did so, and then initiated a lawsuit against the head-doctor, suggesting that the head doctor had a history of poor attitude unhelpfulness.
Contemplations and Connections
Doctors being held accountable for their failures seems to be a recurring theme in my dreams.
I remember the dream about Toby being upsetting. I had a distinct recollection of feeling like:
- Toby wanted to be the one to share his story, but was unable to.
- It’s now up to Adela and Sebastian to share what they can of Toby’s story, and it’s not clear whether they take that seriously.
- Toby should have been able to tell his story himself. I’m still heartbroken that he’s no longer here to share it.
